I had been looking for a stylist ever since I moved to Orange County in 2020 and hadn’t found anyone who I thought was a “keeper.” I was looking for someone with whom I had excellent rapport, who listened to my concerns, who helped me learn/try new products and styles, who would make suggestions based on their expertise, but also someone who wouldn’t push me. Admittedly, I am a hair scaredy-cat…I never learned how to style my hair when I was younger and it just stuck.

A mutual friend recommended Shawna in 2023 and I have never looked back! My first appointment (and every appointment after), we spent the first 10 minutes or so discussing why I made the appointment and what I am looking to do with my hair. She always listens intently and asks follow-up questions – we won’t move on until she has a clear understanding of the objective for the appointment. From there, every experience has been a dream – she is an expert at the wash (never soapy water on my forehead or ears and soooo relaxing), the cut, and style. I have very fine hair, so she cuts most of my hair wet and finishes dry with a fun style.

Shawna has recommended several products over the years and most of them are now in my vanity. She has shown me how to branch out with my hair and style in ways I never thought I could! I can now do my own beachy waves, blow outs, and basic (but polished) updos. Trust me – that is HUGE progress for a girl like me. I just love going to see her and catching up with her every few months and I always walk out feeling like $1M!!

For those ladies that are looking for color, extensions, or more involved styling – Shawna is your lady! She genuinely loves what she does and is always telling me about new seminars and classes she is taking to polish her skill set and keep up with the latest curriculum. She always gives me all the information I’m looking for (plus some). Shawna is the extension queen! She is obsessed with them and is probably the most knowledgeable stylist on every color of the extension rainbow (so to speak). I have recommended a few friends to her and they are now in permanent rotation. I cannot recommend her highly enough. If you’re looking for something/someone new, do yourself a favor and see Shawna.
